"I tried to stay as true to the revised original 1971 "Tongue and Lip Design" by John Pasche. Not only is it one of the most recognizable logos of all time it also works like a logo should… in a minimum amout of solid colours. For this reason I felt it would be best to only extend rather than redo. The 'Fifty Licks' logo version has been cut from 3 colours of solid perspex and photographed with 5 Rolling Stones, and the Queen Elizabeth of course :).
